The HPRC Supplemental Period Pantry
HPRC Period Pantry will provide menstrual products to those in need in Van Buren County. The Pantry will be open the FIRST MONDAY of each month starting in March. Please visit our Facebook Page: HOPE Parent Resource Center for updates, and closings due to weather and other unforeseen issues.

Period Poverty is defined as a lack of access to safe and hygienic menstrual products, education, hygiene facilities, waste management, or a combination of the above. HPRC Period Pantry helps fill the need of menstrual products, provides education on menstruation and hygiene, and creates a sense of community and security for menstruators.
69.41% of South Haven Families in the 2022/2023 School Year were Economically Disadvantaged.
Donations are always accepted for the HPRC Supplemental Period Pantry. Items we are looking for include:
• Pads (all sizes)
• Tampons (all sizes)
• Menstrual Cups
• Period Panties
• Laundry Detergent (one load bottles)
• Deodorant (travel size)
• Make up bags/Ipsy bags (to place items in) or Ziploc Bags (any size)
• Individually Packaged Sanitary Wipes
• Soap/Body Wash

Donations can be placed in our donation box outside of the center by our handicapped entrance, or brought into the center on Tuesdays between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
